AI video upscaler

Upscale video with AI. Soft in, sharp out.

Bring an old, low-res or blurry clip. Frameo upscales it to 1080p or 4K for creators, sellers and families keeping old footage.

How to upscale video

Four steps from blurry to 4K.

Drop in a soft clip, set the target, pick a fix and export. Frameo does the rest.

  1. Upload your clip

Drop in an MP4 or MOV at any resolution. Use the best original you have, not a re-shared copy.

  2. Pick the target

Choose 2x, 4x, 1080p or 4K. The exact cost of a render is shown before you start it.

  3. Choose a fix

Denoise the grain, sharpen faces or smooth motion to 60fps. Switch on only what the clip needs.

  4. Download the upscaled video

Render it, check the result, then export. You retain ownership of what you make.

Drag the handle. Watch it pull into focus.

Slide the focus ring across a dusk street. Signs, brick texture and faces sharpen as you pass.

Upscaling tips

Get the sharpest AI upscale from the clip you have.

  • Upload the highest-quality original, not a re-shared or screen-recorded copy.
  • On very soft footage, 2x often looks cleaner than 4x.
  • Denoise before you sharpen, or the noise gets sharpened too.
  • Add 60fps smoothing for fast motion, not talking heads.
  • Upscaling restores detail. It cannot invent a face or a sign that was never recorded.

Clean source, denoised, then sharpened.

AI video upscale questions

Frameo's upscaler is an AI video tool: it raises a clip's resolution and cleans up noise and faces. It runs on credits from a Frameo plan, and the exact cost of a render is shown before you start it. You retain ownership of what you make. The Terms of Use set out the full position.

You can upscale up to 4K. Longer clips take longer to render and cost more, and you see the cost before you start.

Yes. Run denoise first, then sharpen. Expect a cleaner, crisper clip, not a miracle: detail that was never recorded stays missing.

Face sharpening is optional, and colors are kept as shot. Compare the before and after on your own clip, and switch a fix off if you prefer the original look.

Bring a blurry clip. Leave with 4K.

Upload it, pick the target and watch it sharpen.
