- Frameo ranked #1 on 13 of 16 metrics, including all 8 human-preference metrics, in a 100-prompt, 800-video human evaluation.
- Its 20-point lead over the #2 agent is statistically significant (p < 0.0001), the widest margin in the study.

SAN FRANCISCO and BENGALURU — August 17, 2026 — Dashverse today announced that Frameo, its AI storytelling agent, has been ranked the world’s best AI filmmaking agent in Arc v1.0 Movie, an independent benchmark published today by Physion Labs. In a human evaluation of 8 leading text-to-video agents, including Runway Agent 2.0, Luma Creative Agents, Kling Canvas Agent and Invideo Agent One, Frameo scored 88.7 out of 100 on overall quality, twenty points clear of the second-placed agent.
The evaluation ran all 8 agents on the same 100 cinematic prompts, producing 800 long-form videos scored by human annotators on 16 metrics across three dimensions of filmmaking quality. Frameo placed first in every dimension: Narrative Coherence (84.2), Cinematic Language (92.0) and Production Quality (92.8). It ranked #1 on 13 of the 16 individual metrics, including all 8 metrics measuring human preference, from camera grammar and composition to rhythm, pacing and emotional intent, and never placed below #4 on any metric. Physion Labs found Frameo’s lead over every other agent statistically significant, and rated it the most consistent agent in the field: the only one with zero prompts scoring below 50.
“The margin was large enough that it genuinely caught us by surprise. Our immediate reaction was to check whether something had gone wrong in the evaluation, so we ran an additional round of validation and brought in a fourth expert reviewer for an independent review. The conclusion held: the results are valid, and Frameo is meaningfully ahead of every other agent we evaluated. It’s rare to see this kind of separation in a benchmark.”
Built for short dramas, never optimised for movies
Frameo was not built to win filmmaking benchmarks. Dashverse Co-Founder and CTO Soumyadeep Mukherjee built it as the production system behind the company’s AI short dramas, serialized shows that consumers around the world pay to watch.
That business now runs at industrial scale: 500+ trained AI artists producing more than 100 shows every month, with the business crossing $30 million in annual revenue and tracking towards $40 million annualised. Every show ships with a revenue expectation attached, which means every weakness in the tooling surfaces immediately and gets fixed.
“We never optimised Frameo for movies. All of our harness work went into short dramas that real audiences pay for, so the #1 movie result surprised us too. What the benchmark confirmed is something we see every day: when 500 artists push a system through more than 100 productions a month, each with revenue on the line, the feedback loop compounds faster than any lab setup can match. That loop built Frameo, and it is the reason the gap to the rest of the field is twenty points and not two.”
From short dramas to film, television and marketing
On the strength of these results, Dashverse is expanding Frameo beyond short dramas into AI filmmaking, television and marketing content. In the coming months the company will partner with content production studios, OTT platforms and brands, giving them access to Frameo alongside Dashverse’s trained artists deployed inside partner organisations as Forward Deployed Artists, an embedded model designed to carry partners through AI transformation rather than hand them a tool.
“The benchmark told us that the tool we built to run our own shows is the strongest AI content creation system in the world today, so we are opening it up. Studios, OTT platforms and brands will get Frameo along with our artists working inside their teams. The partners producing at the highest volumes will generate the data and feedback that keep extending Frameo’s lead.”
About the benchmark
Arc v1.0 Movie is an independent comparative evaluation by Physion Labs covering 8 text-to-video agents, 100 cinematic prompts and 800 generated videos, scored on 16 metrics in 3 quality dimensions. Objective metrics were scored by two independent human annotators with third-party adjudication of disagreements. Subjective metrics were captured through pairwise human comparisons aggregated with a Bradley-Terry model. Statistical significance was established with bootstrapped confidence intervals and permutation tests across all 100 prompts. The full scorecard and methodology are available in Physion Labs’ published report.
