Talking avatar how-to

How to create your own talking avatar.

Four steps, in the order they happen in Frameo. Each one shows the app doing the work.

  1. Upload a photo or describe a face

Use a clear front-facing photo in soft, even light with a neutral, closed mouth. No photo? Describe the face you want instead.

  2. Write the script

One idea per line, under 60 seconds. Short sentences read aloud more naturally, so the avatar sounds like you talking.

  3. Pick a voice and its tone

Match warmth and pace to the face and your audience. A calm coach and a shop mascot should not sound alike.

  4. Generate, check, export

Watch the lip sync on the hard sounds, like p and b. Then export for Reels, YouTube or your site.

Photo to talking avatar

One photo in, a presenter out.

Drag across the frame. On one side, the still portrait you upload. On the other, the same face speaking to camera as your talking avatar.

Talking avatar questions

Use a clear front-facing photo in soft, even light, with a neutral, closed mouth and nothing covering the face. Keep your shoulders in frame.

Write your script in the language you need and pick a voice that speaks it. Check the voices offered in Frameo before you generate.

Keep each script under 60 seconds for the cleanest lip-sync, and split a longer talk into parts. The exact cost of a render is shown before you start it.

You retain ownership of what you make. The Terms of Use set out the full position. Use only a photo you have the right to use.

Your first line

Write the first line your avatar will say.

Paste a script or start with one sentence. Frameo builds the presenter around it.
