How to edit an AI presenter in OpenShot

Four clips on the track, one step at a time.

  1. 01

    Write the script

Script clip: write the script in plain sentences, one idea each, then pick a presenter look that suits the room.

  2. 02

    Generate the presenter

Presenter clip: generate the AI presenter in Frameo. Choose the voice, the ratio and the framing, and Frameo makes one take you can review.

  3. Tilt down from a soft ring light to a presenter in a grey shirt speaking to a camera on a tripod, small neutral studio corner, even light, quiet motion, no text

    03

    Import and layer B-roll

B-roll clip: import the clip into OpenShot, drop it on track one, then lay B-roll and titles on the tracks above it.

  4. Dolly out from an editor leaning back from a monitor of coloured clip blocks, revealing the whole dusk office, mixed warm lamp and cool window light, relaxed mood, no text

    04

    Trim and export

Export clip: trim the head and tail, add captions and export at the size the channel wants: 16:9 for YouTube and courses, 9:16 or 1:1 for LinkedIn.

Film or generate

Film a presenter or generate one in Frameo.

OpenShot and AI presenter questions

No. OpenShot is an open-source video editor: it cuts, layers and exports footage you bring. An AI presenter video is a talking-to-camera video generated from a script, so you make the presenter in Frameo from your script, then import that clip into OpenShot to trim, layer and export.

Set the project profile to the clip's ratio and frame rate before you import, so nothing is stretched. Export 16:9 for YouTube and courses, 9:16 or 1:1 for social feeds.

Yes. Edit the sentence in Frameo, generate that part again and swap the clip on your OpenShot track. The exact cost of a render is shown before you start it.

Frameo can dub the presenter into another language with lip-sync, so you make a version per language from one script and cut each the same way in OpenShot.
