Sample prompts for an AI video generator
A sample prompt names a subject, a camera move, the light and a style. Pick one, change a word, and Frameo makes the clip.
How to write a prompt
Write a sample prompt in four steps.
A good prompt reads like a shot note. Build it one part at a time. The exact cost of a render is shown before you start it.
Name the subject
Say what is on screen and where. One clear subject beats a crowded list: a glass bottle on dark stone, a hatchback on a desert road.
Set the camera and light
Pick one move and one light. A slow orbit, a tracking shot or a push in, then warm amber, golden hour or soft studio glow.
Pick length and ratio
Choose the model, the length and the frame. Use 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube and film.
Generate and tweak
Run the prompt, then compare takes. Change one word at a time, the move or the light, and run it again.
Prompt anatomy
One prompt, six parts.
Read it like a spec sheet. Each line does one job, and each one can change on its own.
- SubjectA glass perfume bottle on dark glossy stone
- ActionSlow orbit around the bottle
- CameraMacro close-up, smooth glide
- LightWarm amber glow, soft reflections
- StyleCinematic, shallow depth of field
- Length5 seconds
Real output
Sample results with the exact prompt.
›Feature zoom on a tall glass perfume bottle with a faceted stopper, standing on a black mirror-polished shelf with violet backlight, amber glow pulsing inside the glass once a second, camera snaps into a fast push in toward the stopper, no text or labels, photoreal, cinematic, a 5-second 3:4 clip.
›Hand-painted anime style, a young woman with a black bob in a cream knit sweater walks straight toward the camera down a long bright white hallway, speed-ramped to normal speed at a chest-up shot, soft daylight, locked camera, single full-frame shot, no split panels, no text, 3:4.
›Aerial shot: the camera whip-pans fast across a rugged mountain ridge with motion blur, then settles and glides forward over the ridge at sunrise, low pink-gold sun, mist filling the valleys, layered blue peaks, photoreal cinematic drone look, no text, a 5-second 3:4 clip.
Copy-paste prompts
Eight AI video prompts to copy.
Text-to-video prompts you can paste as they are. For image-to-video, upload a photo and use the camera and light lines.
Vague vs specific
Why a specific prompt wins.
Same idea, two ways to write it. The more the prompt pins down, the less the generator has to guess.
| Compared | Vague prompt | Specific prompt |
|---|---|---|
| Subject | A car | A small teal hatchback on an empty desert highway |
| Camera | Moves around | Tracking shot alongside, at the speed of the car |
| Light | Nice lighting | Golden hour, long shadows, warm sun |
| Motion | Something happening | Dust trailing behind, mountains drifting past |
| Result | A random clip | The clip you pictured |
Sample prompt questions
A sample prompt is a short written shot description that tells an AI video generator what to make. One or two lines usually do: enough to name the subject, the camera and the light, not a full script.
Start with the subject, then the camera move and the light. Style comes after: it finishes the look once the shot itself is clear.
Yes. Copy it, change the subject or the setting, and keep the structure. You retain ownership of what you make. The Terms of Use set out the full position.
Pick 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube and film, and 1:1 for feeds. Choose it before you generate, so the framing fits where the clip will play.
Your turn
Paste a sample, change a word, make yours.
Pick a sample prompt, swap the subject or the light, and send it. Frameo opens with your words filled in.
