Questions worth asking first
Will my characters stay the same across shots?
You cast a face once and it is reused in every shot and every language cut. Continuity is what separates a film from a reel of clips.
How long can a film be?
As long as you want. Shots render in short takes and you assemble them on the timeline, so length is a function of how much you cut. Most people finish something between 15 seconds and 3 minutes. Making up to 120 minutes is straightforward.
Can I use footage I shot myself?
Yes. Green screen keying, background changes, actor changes, SFX and dubbing all work on uploaded footage. Plenty of people use Frameo purely as post.
Do I get a storyboard I can shoot from?
Frames come with shot size, camera move and duration, and export as a board deck or a timed animatic. Directors use it to lock coverage before a real shoot day.
Does dubbing change the lips?
Yes. Mouth movement follows the new language track, so an English release plays as a performance rather than a voice-over. The performance, framing and cut stay exactly as you made them.
Who owns the film?
You do. Full commercial rights on every plan, including the entry tier: festivals, distribution, client work.
