MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. The Frameo MCP server, at https://mcp.frameo.ai/mcp, gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP apps Frameo’s AI video tools, so you can generate videos, images, voiceovers, music and sound effects from a chat and get the results back in the same conversation.
Any app that can add a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in. That includes Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and Windsurf.

No. You sign in with your Frameo account in the browser the first time you connect, and choose which workspace to create in. There are no keys to copy or rotate, and your app never sees your password.
Generate videos and images, record voiceovers, compose music, add sound effects, lip-sync a character to dialogue and upscale finished clips. It can also trim, recolor and retime your footage, add titles and captions, analyze clips you upload, keep characters consistent from shot to shot, organize work into projects and check your credits. For bigger jobs, like turning a script into a short film, a UGC ad or a product photoshoot, it follows Frameo’s built-in skills step by step.

Your assistant picks a sensible default or uses the model you name, and can list every model with its clip lengths, aspect ratios and price. New models show up as Frameo adds them.
Connecting is free. Generations use the credits in your Frameo workspace, the same as in the Frameo app. Before anything is charged, your assistant gets a quote and asks you to confirm the credits. Uploads, imports, edits to existing footage, titles and captions don’t use credits. See Frameo plans for credit allowances.
Everything lands in a Frameo project in the workspace you picked, and in that project’s Library. Each result comes with a link that opens it in Frameo, where you can keep editing on the canvas and assemble the final cut.
Yes. Ask to upload and Frameo gives you a link for files on your device, or paste a link to import media from the web. In ChatGPT, files you attach to the chat can be imported directly. Use them as references, start or end frames, or source clips to edit.
