Introducing Frameo MCP: Use Frameo from your AI assistant
Create images, video and voiceover in the conversation where your ideas take shape.
Write a scene in your AI assistant, then ask it to create the opening shot with Frameo. Finish a script and ask for the voiceover in the same conversation.
Frameo MCP connects your assistant to Frameo’s media tools, so you can use the brief and references you’ve already shared to start creating.
Take the next step from the same chat
Say you’re developing a short film. You’ve worked out the opening scene: an empty railway platform at dawn, soft light through the mist, a lone traveler waiting.
You can ask:
Use Frameo to create an image of the opening scene, using the character reference I’ve attached.
Review the image, then give the assistant your next direction:
Try a wider composition, with the traveler at the far end of the platform.
The assistant uses the conversation to make the request. Frameo generates the image, and you have a visual to work with as you develop the scene.
The same approach works for other parts of a production:
- Product visuals: Share a product reference and describe the setting, lighting and composition.
- Video clips: Describe the action and camera movement for a shot.
- Voiceover: Give the assistant your script and the delivery you want.
These are example requests. The tools available to you depend on your connection.
Your assistant directs. Frameo creates.
Your assistant uses the brief to plan the work and request media from Frameo. You review the results and decide what to change or create next.
If you’re already using an assistant to develop scripts, research ideas or plan a production, MCP brings Frameo into that workflow. You can also continue using Frameo directly, with its agent, Canvas and Timeline.
Media generation uses your Frameo credits. Your assistant’s subscription and usage are separate.

What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s a standard that lets an AI assistant use tools from other services. Frameo uses it to make its media tools available to a connected assistant.
How do I connect Frameo to my assistant?
Contact the Frameo team for the supported setup options during the preview. Connection steps depend on the assistant you use.
Will I use my existing Frameo credits?
Yes. Media generation uses Frameo credits, separately from any charges for your AI assistant.
Does this use the Frameo agent?
In this workflow, your external assistant directs the work and calls Frameo’s media tools. Frameo’s in-app agent is a separate way to create.
